The Usual - Terms and Conditions

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Usual mobile application (the "App") operated by
The Usual ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree,
do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. You must provide
accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs
under your account.

The service

The Usual helps users plan and coordinate events with friends and groups. Features may include creating events,
RSVPs, invites, groups, notes, polls, and related social coordination tools.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Your content and conduct

You are responsible for content you submit, including event details, notes, poll questions, and messages sent
through invite links.

You agree not to:

• use the App unlawfully or to harass, abuse, or harm others
• post content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, or infringes others' rights
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
• interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
• use the App for spam or unauthorised commercial solicitation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Invites and other users

When you invite others by email, group, friend list, or share link, you confirm you have a reasonable basis to
share their contact details or invite them to the event.

Other users may see your display name and activity related to shared events, groups, RSVPs, notes, and polls
according to the App's functionality and invite settings.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited,
non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a licence to host, store, display, and process that
content as needed to operate the App.

Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services such as Google Firebase. Your use of those services may also be subject to
their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied,
including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that events will occur as planned, that attendees will respond, or that information in the App
is accurate. You use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or
punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the
twelve months before the claim (if any) or AUD $100, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your account from the Friends screen in the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued
use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you access the
App from outside Australia, you are responsible for compliance with local laws where applicable.

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
